Editing Software for Trailer

To gain the best out of the editing aspect of our trailer Jennifer and I downloaded many trials for different videoing software. We tried out Windows Movie Maker first and decided that it wasn’t accurate and intense enough for the amount of editing we wanted to achieve which would have hindered our creativity. We then tried out Cyber Link Power Director 10, this was found to be a lot better and was definitely better for exporting files but the effects were still not quite up to our expectations and we still felt that we could do better.  We then downloaded a trial of Sony Vegas which managed to impress Jennifer and I with the amount of extra detail that it gave although we were still having trouble exporting. This is why we have decided to stick with Sony Vegas and then if we aren’t happy with the exporting then we will edit in Sony Vegas and export in Power Director.
